AstroLingo Privacy Policy

AstroLingo helps users learn astrology through lessons, chart visuals, practice, and related learning tools. This policy describes how AstroLingo handles information needed to operate those features and subscriptions.

• Name or chart label.
• Birth date.
• Birth time, if provided.
• Birth city or place.
• Selected city coordinates and timezone.
• Learning progress, XP, streaks, hearts, completed lessons, saved charts, bookmarks, and settings.
• Optional question reports, problem reports, or support messages submitted by the user.

Birth details can be skipped during onboarding.

• Natal chart SVGs.
• Chart placements.
• Natal insights.
• Practice results.
• Subscription entitlement state.

AstroLingo stores learning progress, saved charts, settings, and cached chart visuals on the user device using local app storage.

• Apple App Store and StoreKit process subscription purchases.
• RevenueCat manages subscription entitlements, purchase status, and restore handling.
• FreeAstroAPI handles city search, natal chart generation, ephemeris, moon, ingress, and natal insight requests.
• Supabase, if enabled, may support question reports, chart-study schedules, or app data used by optional server-backed features.

When a user creates or edits a chart, FreeAstroAPI may receive birth date, birth time, selected city, coordinates, timezone, and chart calculation settings.

Purchases are processed by Apple, not directly by AstroLingo. AstroLingo receives entitlement and subscription status through RevenueCat.

AstroLingo does not use third-party advertising trackers. The app may record basic purchase-flow events, such as when a paywall is shown or a restore is completed, to understand subscription performance.

Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the app, app features, and purchases. AstroLingo does not sell personal data.

• Local device data remains until the user deletes it or deletes the app.
• Server-side reports or support emails may be retained as needed to respond and improve the app.
• RevenueCat and Apple purchase records follow those providers' retention rules.

• Skip birth data during onboarding.
• Delete saved charts in the app.
• Delete the app to remove local app data.
• Contact support for privacy and data questions.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings.
